Terms and Conditions

Legal disclaimer

Disclaimer: By accepting quotes and/or proceeding with installation, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions in full.

Quotes and Acceptance

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • BMP Wardrobes reserves the right to withdraw or amend any quote where errors are identified in pricing or calculations.

  • A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of this quote to secure an installation date, with the balance payable upon completion of installation.

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing the quote carefully for design, dimensions, and finishes. Any alterations requested after production has commenced will incur additional charges at the customer’s expense. Deposits are non-refundable once production has started.

Revisions and Installation

  • Multiple revisions to this quote may incur an additional surcharge.

  • All requested changes must be confirmed in writing. A fee may apply.

  • Installation dates are estimates only. While every effort will be made to meet scheduled dates, BMP Wardrobes accepts no liability for delays caused by supplier backorders, manufacturing delays, or circumstances beyond our control.

  • If installation cannot be completed on the scheduled day, BMP Wardrobes reserves the right to request partial payment of the remaining balance, with the full balance due upon completion.

  • If the customer is not on-site or access is restricted (e.g., due to other trades), and rescheduling is required, a separate service call fee may apply. No fee will be charged where rescheduling is necessary due to illness or other factors at BMP Wardrobes’ discretion.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for the removal of existing wardrobes, internals, doors, or cabinetry, unless otherwise specified in the quote. Failure to remove these prior to installation may result in an additional removal fee.

  • Customers must ensure that all obstructions, including furniture and personal belongings, are cleared from the installation area.

  • Non-payment may result in BMP Wardrobes engaging a debt collection agency, with all costs and fees payable by the customer.

Warranty

  • BMP Wardrobes provides a 10-year warranty to the original purchaser on all products and workmanship.

  • Materials are manufactured to meet strict industry standards; however, minor imperfections (e.g., slight variations in aluminium, timber, or mirrors) are not covered by warranty.

  • This warranty is non-transferable and excludes mirror or glass breakage post-installation.

  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, improper cleaning/maintenance, or unauthorised repairs.

  • All materials supplied remain the property of BMP Wardrobes until full payment is received.

  • Service calls outside the warranty period will incur a call-out fee, plus costs of parts and labour.

  • Customer Requirements Prior to Installation:

Secure pets away from access and work areas.

Notify BMP Wardrobes of specific requirements in advance.

  • Cornice Installation:

Sanding and painting of cornices after installation are the customer's responsibility.

  • Removals and Cut-outs:

Removing top shelves or internals may result in wall damage; patching and painting are the customer's responsibility.

Removals and installations may take place on different days, which could incur additional costs.

Enlarging wardrobe openings may reveal flooring gaps or discoloured timber; repairs are the customer's responsibility unless included in the quotation.

Wall cut-outs will need painting or lining by the customer. Gaps may be visible where materials have been removed.

  • Post-Installation:

Customers are required to inspect the installation on the day it is completed and inform the installer of any issues immediately.

  • Final Payment:

The remaining balance is payable on the day of installation. Payment can be made directly to the installer or through the BMP Wardrobes office.
